Our staff is experienced in network design and deployment. If you have a small home network or a large facility with hundreds of machines, we have the experience to help you.
This includes setting up and maintaining Linux and Windows based servers, designing and configuring networking hardware such as managed switches, routers and firewalls, and setting up client machines.
Our experience with TCP/IP and ethernet goes back to the days of broadcast networks and ethernet hubs. Over the years as technology has changed, we have adapted and refined our skills.
Staff are experienced in handling security issues and setting up trouble-free network installations. We have certain preferences for firewalls, such as BSD based operating systems because the stack is not executable, leading to fewer buffer overflow exploits. In addition, we recommend, and will work with you to ensure your systems are as up-to-date as possible, to prevent problems in a day and age when zero-day exploits are becoming more common.
It's easy to setup a simple network with a few clicks of the mouse, but it's extremely difficult to setup a secure network where your information is safe!
In addition to setting up and maintaining networks, we also have experience in programming network software. We have programmers on staff who have written TCP/IP based networking applications. Automate the World understands networking from both the hardware and software sides.
